    Council adopt the minutes of the City Council meeting held Monday, June 28, 2021 as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    Council adopt the Agenda as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    Council adopt the minutes of the Protective and Social Services Committee meeting held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    Council adopt the minutes of the Community Services Committee meeting held Tuesday, July 6, 2021, as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    Council adopt the minutes of the Corporate Services Committee meeting held Tuesday, July 6, 2021, as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    Council give three readings to Bylaw C-1396C, being an amendment to the Swan City Hockey Association Loan Bylaw.

  • Recommendation:

    Council adopt the minutes of the Infrastructure and Economic Development Committee meeting held Tuesday, July 6, 2021, as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    Council approve the revisions to Policy 212, being the Community Garden/Edible Landscaping Policy.

  • Recommendation:

    Council approve the revisions to Policy 606, being the Snow and Ice Control Policy.

D. Whelton, Senior Planner, presented Council with amendments to the Kensington Area Structure Plan, Kensington Outline Plan, and Land Use Bylaw. The proposed amendments would facilitate the development of low-medium density housing in the area. 

  • Recommendation:

    Council give three readings to Bylaw C-1343C, being an amendments to the Kensington Area Structure Plan.

  • Recommendation:

    Council give three readings to Bylaw C-1344D, being an amendment to the Kensington Outline Plan. 

  • Recommendation:

    Council give three readings to Bylaw C-1260-136, being an amendment to the Land Use Bylaw.

  • Recommendation:

    Council approve the Operating Grant Allocations as presented in Attachment 1.

  • Recommendation:

    Council approve 2022-2023 Operational Funding as presented in Attachment 2.

  • Recommendation:

    Council approve 2022 Capital Funding in the amount of $40,000.00 to the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie as presented in Attachment 2.

  • Recommendation:

    Council approve Funding in the amount of $30,000.00 from the Future Expenditures Reserve to the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie, to be used for 2022 exhibitions and promotion of those exhibitions, as presented in Attachment 2. 

  • Recommendation:

    Council approve Development Permit PL210231, for the change of use to Permanent Supported Housing use with conditions, as indicated in Appendix #5 - Development Permit PL210231 for the following reason: 

    • The proposed use meets all the requirements of the Land Use Bylaw C-1260.

  • Recommendation:

    Council approve the purchase of Lands Plan 7921475; Block 1; Lot Z

  • Recommendation:

    Council amend the 2021 capital budget to include the addition of $15,500,000.00 for the purchase and renovation of the Stonebridge Hotel, with a funding source of long-term debt.

  • Recommendation:

    Council give first reading to Bylaw C-1440, being a Borrowing Bylaw.
